American Off-Road Racing Championships:
- AORC Class Points Champions: The driver/riders who accumulate the most amount of points at all races in their class.
- AORC Unlimited Race Overall Champion: The driver who completes all races in the fastest elapsed time in the Unlimited Race.
- AORC Limited Race Overall Champion: The driver who completes all races in the fastest elapsed time in the Limited Race Race.
- AORC Motorcycle Race Overall Champion: The rider who completes all races in the fastest elapsed time in the Limited Race Race.
Driver/Rider Championship Eligibility:
- Driver/Rider of Records must start or finish races in the same class to receive a year end points position.
Lowest Points Drop / Throw Away Race:
- AORC will allow one (1) throw-away race within the five-race series. Racers or teams are not required to start all five events.
- The throw-away round may either be the racer’s lowest points-earning event or a race they do not start.
- There is no throw-away race for Overall Race Championships or Manufacturer Cups.
Manufacturer Cup Eligibility:
- Brands are tied to vehicles, based on the vehicle information submitted by the Driver/Rider of Record during race registration. Manufacturers are awarded points based on the finishing results from the racers that race their products.
- After each race, manufacturers receive the same number of points the Driver/Rider of Record is awarded in their Class Points Championship. Manufacturer points will be allocated to the top 20% of participants in each championship class.
- To clarify this process, here’s how it might work: If there are 20 participants in a class, the top 20% would be 4 positions. Points will be awarded from racers finishing 1st-4th finishing positions. If the result is not a whole number in all instances (e.g. 6.1, 6.5 or 6.8), the points allocation will round UP (e.g., 7).
- A class must have a minimum of 5 entries in order for a manufacturer to be awarded points.
- Manufacturer products must be readily available to purchase by the general public.
Manufacturer Cups:
- Tire, Wheel & Shock Championship Classes (Car/Truck Category): Unlimited Truck (2WD & 4WD), Class 1 and Unlimited Truck SPEC.
